Winfield Economic Development
Winfield Economic Development began with a high-profile project in the mid-90s. When a former manufacturing facility in Winfield, Kan., closed, WED purchased the building and then leased it to GE Engine Services.
Since then, WED has continued with high- and low-profile projects that support local economic strength and growth. WED works closely with the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Winfield, Cowley First, area financial institutions and other economic development agencies to encourage innovative projects. WED is a not-for-profit organization.
WED has available construction locations in Winfield.
